Description

Over 50 million people have signed up for Bumble to start building valuable relationships, finding friends, and making empowered connections. Creating new connections has never been easier. Bumble is working to lift the stigma of online dating by employing unprecedented standards for respectful behaviour. Because of this relentless dedication, millions of people are using Bumble to build valuable relationships every single day. DATE, MEET FRIENDS, NETWORK Bumble is at the forefront of matchmaking technology by providing an app that allows users to foster more than just romantic connections. The industry-leading app empowers users to swipe through potential connections across three different modes: Bumble Date: On Bumble Date, women make the first move. We’ve changed the archaic rules of the dating game so that you can form meaningful relationships in a respectful way. Bumble BFF: Life is better with friends. Whether you’re new to a city or looking to expand your circle, Bumble BFF is the easiest way to make new friends. Bumble Bizz: Now we’re in business. Use Bumble Bizz to network, find mentors, and create new career opportunities. Bumble is the first app of its kind to bring dating, friend-finding, and career-building into a single social networking platform. CHANGING THE RULES OF THE GAME At Bumble, women make the first move. In heterosexual matches, the woman has 24 hours to make the first move and the man has 24 hours to respond. In same-sex matches, either person has 24 hours to make the first move, while the other individual has 24 hours to respond, or else, the connection expires. By prompting our users to be bold and make the first move we’ve seen over 3 billion messages sent to date. THE BUZZ IS REAL “Bumble exists to empower women...” (Fast Company) “Bumble is just an app: but it’s changing the discussion.” (Wired) “Bumble offers an alternative that prioritises meaningful connections, with women calling the shots:” (UK Sunday Times) “Bumble rejects hate speech to make users feel safe on its dating app” (Texas Standard) “What makes Bumble different from other dating apps...is its focus on giving women all the power. ” (Business Insider) --- Bumble is free to download and use, and that will never change for our main features. So now this app is making you pay an expensive subscription to backtrack on a person when it used to be free. You actually gave us three a day. Could’ve maybe put it down to one? But to make us pay for such a dumb feature, LAME. Money hungry company.
  • I used to love it but it’s the same thing over and over...

I used to love this app. My first couple dates came from this app. But over time it slowly became weird and was only showing me the same type of guy over and over again. It seemed as if there was no diversity amongst which made it boring for me. I used to have meaningful conversations on here vs. tinder but I’m not sure what happened. And I’m sure a lot is not based off the app, but as a WOC, it’s kind of disssapointing. Hope you improve!

Bumble WAS awesome, but in the last week they removed the ‘undo’ feature from the free version. They also prevented sorting by height range, political-views, religion, if they have kids, etc. Come on Bumble, please change the app back to how it was a week ago!
  • Bad app

There’s some things good with this app, but it’s all subscription based so I would not recommend this app whatsoever.
  • They’re system is sexist

I can’t upload a mirror picture in a swimsuit (high waisted and one shoulder) because it apparently implies I’m in underwear BUT I can upload an ass picture by the pool without my face and that’s appropriate. Also guys can upload shirtless mirror pictures at the gym (or very revealing at the least) or guys in speedos can be posing by a bus not even by a body of water and that’s acceptable and that’s why I think it’s sexist. Also it’s apparently okay to dress in a sports bra outside or bra and underwear by the pool because that will imply it’s a swimsuit. The logic there is so messed up. And when I ask for my money back they just ignore that question all together.
  • Few options

Unless you have a large age range and large geography, you quickly run out of options. Don’t like that you have to pay to see who has shown interest in you. But does seem less slimy than other apps.

Bumble has now removed the most basic free features every dating app gives you. Filtering age range and distance. This app is straight up trash.
  • Update ruined the app

You can no longer backtrack or set advanced date filters unless you upgrade. These previously free features made the app more favorable against its competitors, but without them it’s just a cheap tinder knockoff.
  • Update makes it useless

Terrible update to make it useless unless you pay a lot.
  • You’ve changed and it’s not cute

This was my favorite dating app....keyword WAS. They got rid of features that were free and made it worth my time to use the app. No longer are there free back swipes or 2 free filters. This is my issue. These features made me stay on the app. In the past, have found most of the dates I’ve been on the through this app. I also recommended it to every girl I know. I feel betrayed by the act of them taking away features they gave for free. This is so money hungry, especially to take away free features during a national quarantine. What set them apart is GONE. I’m going to go use hinge now.
